Thanks for the idea. I am making a list of things I need to purchase to try making my very own birds nest. I’m exicted! It has been very windy here in PA so I have my neighbors birch tree branches in my backyard. Perfect timing, huh? I will let you know how it works out. Peace, Maryanne

Maryanne, I think you can just do a bigger version of this. If you don’t have a bird nest to start off with you can just use some moss. Try arranging it in a nest shape and start adding in your sticks and dried grasses. You might need to help hold things together with some wire as you make your base. If you put it into a basket or bowl it will help support your nest better. Let me know how it turns out! Hope this helps!

I love the idea. Do you have any ideas for making a large birds nest? One that would hold a dozen dyed Easter eggs to put on kitchen sideboard. I would like to do something different this Easter instead of putting them in a basket or a glass bowl. Any ideas Clever Laryssa?

Very cute! We don’t have many gray days so winter is actually very much appreciated when it gets here, lol! I’ve currently got my Valentine’s decor up but as soon as that’s down I may have to try this as I really like it’s look.
