Thanks for the comment Nester! The trick to making sure your strawberries are ripe is to first look for bright red ones and then lift the container up and smell them. It looks kind of funny, but if they smell like sweet berries then the most likely will taste like them too!

Oh my those look delish! And fresh and red inside–I cannot stand it when I bring strawberries home and they are under “cooked” and white inside!
