Unplugged Day…How Did It Go?
Well…I had to do a modified version of the unplugged day. Since my new art prints launched on Thursday,I did have to use the computer a little while. But, I made some rules for the day. First, I only had one hour for the whole day and no blog reading.
This challenge was hard for me! I was at home, having a regular day, there were many times I wanted to use the computer. It was a great check-up though…. I am more aware of how much time I’m spending on the computer now…which is a good thing!
How did it go for you?
By the way…I have some new ads up! Click on this button to see my new ad.

Oh my goodness, don’t you just love it when you find someone’s blog through some totally random place and then realize you “know” this blog through somewhere else?
I just found you through doing a search on making yogurt in the crockpot, and you had commented on another blog about it. Then…I come over here and find out you are the ARTIST who made those delicious little egg & feather paintings, that I have been coveting over at The Nester, et. al.
What a small online world! I think I shall link you over at my place. Thanks!!

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! Glad to know my watercolor instruction is helping you recall all those techniques…I think you have it down pretty well! Did you know you were the first ever to leave a comment on my new site way last year (other than my daughter)? And since then I have enjoyed all your posts and your fun artwork on Etsy. Love it! Somehow, teaching art lessons forces me to remember all I learned and forgot from formal art classes myself! Now if I could just have an “unplugged” day and just paint! Blessings, Mara

I’m so glad that you were able to unplug just a bit! I was surprised at how difficult it was. I became very aware of how often I have the urge to look something up, check my email, see what my blogging peeps are up to.
I can’t wait for my prints! I hope you sold a million!!!!!!

Tara,
Thanks for saying hi! I’m so happy you knew who I was when you got here. I’ve had so many people come up to me and say…”You’re the egg!”. I don’t mind, I’m glad they recognize me!

Thanks for saying hi! It felt so strange to not be on the computer. My son was very surprised…he said, but you’re always on the computer during free time!
