Love your tips! I think a lot of sunshine does wonders, too. Maybe it's the Vitamin D or the fresh air? Or maybe it's the dirt, giving the kids probiotics for that intestinal tract.

Thanks for the lesson today. I learned some new stuff from you!

I had no idea that sugar could lower your immune system like that...thanks for the very informative post! I just gargled with warm salt water last night because might throat was bothering me. It's so much better this morning. That was one of those things my mom made me do when I had a sore throat and I ignored that advice for so long when I got older. But, now I realize it really does work! :)

Thanks for the info, especially about peroxide! I didn't realize that it was helpful in protecting against illness. And I'll definitely be more careful about the sugar, too especially since we're entering cold/flu season and the talk is rising about vaccines, which I really want to avoid as I'm not so sure they're good for us.

And I really appreciate the verse at the end. That point is so important, no matter how healthy we try to be, it is still God's mercy that keeps us from sickness! Praise God for being so gracious to us!

Thanks for the reminder. I just shared this with a co-worker who, after hearing about the one teaspoon of sugar and six hours, made the comment, "Wow! I've just killed my immune system for the day and it isn't even 10:00 yet!" (He said this as he stood before my desk with a sugar-laden LARGE mug of coffee in hand.) Also the info about the intestines amazed him and he used to be an EMT! No wonder he is just now recovering from another "nasty bug" that his daughter (15) is now fighting! Hmmmm...
