Also, when my kids were little, our microwave had a button/bar you had to push to make it pop open (have a different model now) so to make it close quietly, I would push the button while I ever-so-gently closed the door, releasing the button at the same time. Yes, necessity is the mother of invention, especially when it comes to having a snack - all alone - with your hushand. Have a great week! (Can't wait for my mom to open my (your) gift! Thanks again.
